Chris on a deck, a toilet with a view, and the flame-throated warbler.

We saw every bird we wanted to yesterday, but had to go fairly high up in the mountains. We got brief views of the flame-throated warbler, but it didn’t sit still long enough for Mike to photograph.  Chris doesn’t like heights, particularly cliffs or decks where you could fall a few hundred feet to your death.  She’s getting better and went close to the edge.  Fortunately, this deck had a bathroom, which is handy if you’re spending most of the day birding. This one had a window where you could see trees from the toilet.  When using the restroom, Chris saw the warbler and came running out half unzipped to Mike who got some photos.   Teamwork saves the day.
