As soon as we got back to reception at Nayara Srpings, I went straight to the coffee bar to order a mimosa to decompress. I don’t get up at 4:30 am to beat the tour buses and see the birds to be told, those birds are hard to find. Yes, I know that. That’s your job! His laser pointer skills were abysmal and he scared all the birds away by randomly waving the pointer in their general direction most likely hitting them in the eye and that’s the reason they flew off.
Okay, end of rant. Of course Mike will follow up with a few good bird photos and the scene around the volcano was nice. Now pour me another.
That’s the fruit feeder for the birds (junk birds to us at this point.) The volcano with the clouds is nice. I guess he thought we would sit here and look at this for 6 hours while he had breakfast with his friends.
