Bill Terran and his dragon

Mike has been doing a lot of the blogging on top of his being the only one taking photos and finding the best of all his many photos. Mike does not type well - at all! Mike uses dictation a lot when he blogs and then has Chris do a proofread oftentimes after the post has been published. It’s very amusing sometimes and gives me a good laugh.
For instance, a post or two back, a boat billed heron had transcribed as boat Bill Terran. And in the same post, apparently we ate dragon comma and fruit. I was having a good belly laugh before I fixed those errors and now I say, I miss Bill Terron and his dragon. We still haven’t looked up who Bill Terran might be or if he is in Mike’s contacts.
We had a wonderful drive over to Nayara Springs with a fun driver, Fabio, who knew just where to stop; including a photo op at the continental divide.

Some other picturesque spots with the volcano and the lake.

We arrived at Nayara Springs with great expectations as it is billed as the number one accommodation in this area. The villa is TRULY lovely and incredible! However, it was at least the fifth one they showed us before we said, yes, this has the level of privacy and quiet we were led to believe every villa here has. They do not show a map of their property on their website. If they had, we may have reconsidered. The villas in the springs area are practically wall to wall! In addition it is a huge complex that goes on to include the garden rooms and the tenting camp. The manager got involved quickly without us even having to ask to whisk us around in a golf cart to what he thought were the most desirable villas. Eventually he got us, and when we entered villa six, I declared, this is the one. Apparently it was already assigned to another couple who had requested extra pillows and floral arrangements which were already placed.  Those were removed and we got the villa!  - so that really was over the top for management to take that much time to make sure we were happy. It’s not his fault they built it wrong! So it seems they built it up and chased all the birds and wildlife away. This is our biggest problem when we have this conundrum of loving nature but wanting AC, bug free room, a few luxuries, and birds and nature all in one boat. We realized we achieved that once in Belize and once in South Africa at Londolozi.

Anyway, we did some birding this morning off property with a local guide after some confusion regarding they thought we had a car. It all worked out and Mike is editing pictures, and we enjoyed a nice soak in our hot springs fed pool. So more bird photos later after we finish our cocktails and have lunch delivered- and before we fall asleep when dark hits after again getting up before dawn for the best birds.
Some photos of the villa before we assaulted it with our belongings.

The villa has two of nearly everything; two showers, indoor and out, with two shower heads in each; two completely separate sinks and dressing areas. It has one hammock- which is fine. Chris loves them and Mike hates them.
