Leaving the Hacienda

On our last day, we went out birding around the hotel.  We didn’t see many new birds, just one common trash bird, the great kiskadee.
We also saw a juvenile northern jacana, which was hard to identify since it is much lighter than the adult in our guide apps.

The best find by far, was an anteater.

The next best find was some homemade pineapple papaya jam with cinnamon, nutmeg, etc that improved the cold toast and cold tortillas at the buffet.
